HONOLULU — Honolulu police say a woman was killed and two others were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Waimanalo.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser newspaper reports the 19-year-old Kaneohe woman was a passenger in the vehicle and was ejected in the late Wednesday morning crash.

Emergency responders declared the woman dead on arrival. Her name was not immediately released.

Police say the driver and her front seat passenger were taken to a hospital in serious condition.

Police say none of the three women were wearing seatbelts.

According to police, the driver was heading southeast on Hihimanu Street when she lost control of her Honda sedan, struck a utility pole and spun out.
